Hello folks! It’s that time of the year when sales, holidays and summer meets and you end up having to choose which one you really want to invest in. But, if you honestly ask me I feel like getting away. Planning a much needed mid-season city break before the real summer hits?
I seem to have a summer itch for a cheeky city break getaway right now… but what to include on your city break packing list? With Instagram moments in mind (of course!) we want to look on-trend at all times, while keeping it stylish and comfy as we explore the city and why not combine a post with my best picks of the high streets and of the designer SALES, for the best of both worlds? Here is a quick 7 outfits for you to rock during a 7 day city break gateway.
How would you select an ensemble that’ll be comfortable enough to travel in, but chic enough to keep you from feeling invisible? You surely wouldn’t enjoy sitting in a tight dress, nor would you want to sit around in your tracksuit bottoms and an oversized sweatshirt, you might as well be in pyjamas. Lucky for you, here are a few suggestions that will keep the perfect balance between cozy and cool.
Kept it California-cool; add a straw fedora, converses and the distressed short .
If you ware on a city break like Europe, it would be wise to know that Europeans like to dress up and you will feel more comfortable in smart casual clothing. This would definitely be one of the locations to show off and make an extra effort.
But, make sure you take comfy shoes for the daytime, as the city is full of cobbled streets, plus religious sites and museums with wooden floors (try Hotter shoes, they provide total comfort and look great too). If you are visiting the big cities leave your swimsuit at home it’s very unlikely that you will find facilities to use it.

Feel free to be glamorous and stylish. A pair of wedges is a versatile piece that will dress up any outfit, effortlessly.
And a few well-chosen pieces such a good pair of statement sunglasses will also add an extra touch of glamour to any outfit.
Save the thin heels for the evenings.
This will also be an ideal look for a quick late night visit to a restaurant near by. However, this is a time when a good pair of sandals may come in handy, its a much elegant way rather then wearing trainers.

First impressions are everything so try to really make it about personal appearance and image. There is nothing wrong with making an effort especially when you are going out, even if it’s just to explore the city.
Jeans are still very popular but why not swap it for the trending culottes for a change they are very versatile and comfy too. Accessorise is key, it keeps things interesting so don’t be affraid to try new things, in fact this is your chance to experiment and be brave.
